This heavy duty front crossmember kit is designed to replace the flimsy stock crossmember on the 73-87 Chevrolet squarebody frames.  It is specifically designed to work with our Cummins conversion mounts and frame boxing kits, and can be used with or without our frame boxing kits.  This will dramatically strengthen the frame in the steering box area, with mounting plates that tie both front body mounts together with 2x4 .188 rectangular tubing and plate steel mounting plates and gussets.  It requires welding, but can be installed into stock frames without welding if preferred.  81-87 kits are available with optional HD 3/16 thick bumper mount reinforcement plates--great for winch bumpers.  Sway bar mounts to work with the oem bar are coming soon!
