After years of requests, we have designed a 100% bolt in conversion kit to mount the legendary Cummins 6bt into the 1973-87 Chevrolet K series Squarebody chassis (Suburbans, Blazers and Crew cabs up to 1991).  This kit completely replaces the factory failure prone motor mounts and under oil pan crossmember with our heavy duty components.  The mounts and crossmember are built from 1/4" and 3/16 P&O steel laser cut and precision formed to fit and strengthen the channel of the frame. Doubler plates are included to beef up the crack prone areas of the frame and everything bolts to the frame with supplied grade 8 hardware.  Mounts are adjustable for a perfect fit to the firewall, with slots added for factory brake line connections.  The crossmember is the same HD design we have used for over 15 years now, and allows easy in chassis removal of the oil pan.  This kit requires the use of a 2nd gen Dodge or newer oil pan and pickup, which gives us the most clearance to the front differential. 

The factory front crossmember will need to be notched for harmonic balancer clearance, and the optional crossmember brace kit will bolt in place to reinforce after cutting. Parts are shipped bare steel and will need painted or otherwise finished.

Finally, a bolt in solution that covers all the bases!  It gives 3 choices of isolator vibration damping, reinforces the frame and installs easily using hand tools, a cut off wheel and hand drill.   Brake proportioning valve will still need relocation.   MADE IN THE USA!

MOTOR NOTES:  This will fit 94-02 motors without modification.  89-93 motors will need to use a 2nd gen oil pan and pick up.  Commonrail 5.9 and 6.7 motors will bolt into the mounts, but expect firewall modification and other fabrication work.
