This is an awesome jeep, best of both worlds.  Jeepster commando is sitting on a 2006 LJ chassis on Dana 44s, and powered by a GM 5.3 coupled to a Six speed auto and 241 t case.  Designed and built to handle 4+ trails, but still able to cruise the highway at above legal speeds.  Completely modernized with an eye towards simplicity and light weight, but still armored and able to withstand abuse with a 6 point cage integrated into the chassis.  It is back at the shop now to finish up some odds and ends, get pulled apart, send the body off to paint and reassemble!
